PayRetailers, new CONMEBOL Sudamericana official sponsor

The renowned payment service provider joins prestigious global brands with an agreement that runs until December 2022

The South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) and PayRetailers have reached an agreement for the renowned international payment service provider to become an Official Sponsor of the CONMEBOL Sudamericana. The deal runs for the next two seasons until December 2022.

Thus, Payretailers joins prestigious global brands such as Amstel, Betfair, Bridgestone, EA SPORTS, MG Motor and Qatar Airways that already work with CONMEBOL in its club competitions and in the evolution and development of all South American football.

The CONMEBOL Sudamericana will have a new format starting this season that will include a Group Phase and increases the number of total matches, which goes from 105 to 157.

In CONMEBOL’s will to return to South American football what it generates, the amount to be distributed in the different phases of the tournament with a new format also increases from USD 47,200,000 to USD 58,960,000, which represents an increase of 25% compared to 2020.

The CONMEBOL Sudamericana start date is scheduled for March 16, 2021.
