CONMEBOL and FC DIEZ MEDIA launch sponsorship packages for the Women’s CONMEBOL Libertadores
The newcoming brands will also take advantage on the 360° Sponsorship concept introduced by FC DIEZ MEDIA for CONMEBOL Club Competitions since 2019
The South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) and FC DIEZ MEDIA, its exclusive club competitions commercial rights agency, launch sponsorship packages for the most important women’s football competition in the continent.
For the first time, the Women´s CONMEBOL Libertadores Final will take place during the same week of CONMEBOL Libertadores and CONMEBOL Sudamericana Finals, on November 21st, in Montevideo, Uruguay, creating a unique week-long celebration of South American football.
Local powerhouses such as reign champions Ferroviária and Corinthians, both Brazilians, San Lorenzo (Argentina), Universidad de Chile (Chile) and Nacional (Uruguay) have already secured spots among the 16 participant teams in this edition, that will be played until Semifinals in Asunción, Paraguay (November 3-18).
In a move to attract new partners and boost support to its women’s football platform, CONMEBOL is opening for the first time the opportunity for brands that are currently non-sponsors of their main Men’s Club Competitions, CONMEBOL Libertadores and CONMEBOL Sudamericana, to become official partners of Women’s CONMEBOL Libertadores.
All the 32 matches of the tournament will be broadcasted live to the 10 countries in South America through Facebook Watch and DirecTV, the latter with exception of Brazil, where Facebook is set to be the exclusive rights holder.
Santander is the first global brand confirmed as official sponsor of Women’s CONMEBOL Libertadores, in a recent deal valid from 2020-2022, expanded from their original agreement for the Men’s competition.
Sponsorship packages are segmented in two different tiers, Global Sponsors and National Partners, expecting to attract top global brands as well as regional leaders, committed to supporting the expansion of women’s football in the region, as 100% of the sponsorship revenue obtained will be reinvested by CONMEBOL to further develop the platform.
The newcoming brands will also take advantage on the 360° Sponsorship concept introduced by FC DIEZ MEDIA for CONMEBOL Club Competitions since 2019, offering wide association rights, high-visibility in-stadia branding, exclusive broadcast assets, digital branded content and plenty of activation opportunities.
